FAQs

What is the dress code?

Formal attire for both the wedding ceremony and the UK reception. It will be warm in Cyprus so dress for the weather!

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Typically the weather in Cyprus in June is sunny and around 30° C, dropping to around 25° C after sunset. The venue is on the coast so there may be a light to moderate breeze.

For the UK reception, your guess is as good as ours! It’ll most likely be a judgement call the week before, however be advised that it is an indoor venue with access to an outside area, so we should be covered for all weather!

Will the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception take place indoors or outdoors?

The full day in Cyprus will be outdoors until 11pm when we will move inside the bar at the hotel. There will however be plenty of opportunities to seek shade after the ceremony. The Venue is air conditioned inside.

Are there other wedding events I can attend?

We aim to plan a pre-wedding meal so all our guests can enjoy mingling before the big day and we also want to include some fun activities. We are yet to plan the itinerary for the week, more details to be posted on this site nearer the time.

Can I bring a plus one?

Your formal invitation will state if you are invited to bring a plus one. Unfortunately, we have a strict limit on numbers and therefore our celebration is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.

How do I get to the wedding venue?

Please refer to the Travel section on our website for full details on getting to the Venue and accommodation information.

Do you have a wedding hashtag?

Our Hashtag will be #CopplestoneWedding25 and you can tag us with your journey with us at @the_copplestones on Instagram. On the day of our wedding, we will provide QR codes for you to upload any pictures and videos of the celebrations so you can share your memories with us.

Will there be food and drinks during cocktail hour?

After the wedding ceremony, we will be serving canapés accompanied by refreshments (both alcoholic and non-alcohol options available).

Will dinner be served at the reception? What kind of food will it be?

During our reception food and drinks will be provided. Dinner will be a meze-style selection of dishes including both meat and fish. We do ask that you use the fields on the RSVP form to advise of any allergies or dietary requirements. If you have not done this, you can still contact us to update dietary requirements but please note, this will have to be finalised with the venue by 1st April 2025.

Should I bring a gift to your destination wedding?

Since you’re traveling for our wedding, making the trip is a gift, physical gifts are absolutely not necessary! If you do choose to browse our wedding registry however, any items on the list would be shipped directly to our home address.

How do we RSVP?

Please click the RSVP button at the top right of the page to let us know if you can make it. There is an option to RSVP to both the wedding in Cyprus and the UK reception or both. We have asked that guests to our ceremony in Cyprus RSVP by 31st January 2025 and Guest of the UK reception RSVP by 1st May 2025.
